Fall Lawn Care WILL Determine What Your Lawn Looks Like Next Year!

For those of you who have been following me, you may have noticed that Bob Villa and I have become pretty close friends... (haha, ok, I've never met him, but everything on his website is so EVERYTHING 101 level). These tips and pointers are from his website too! 

If you are thinking about selling your home in the spring, you should do this now! If you aren't thinking about selling in the spring, you should still do this now too! Who doesn't want a yard that looks amazing and has less weeds! 

Bob states that it is just as important to fertilize in the fall as in the spring! Here in MN, where it gets cold, we want to buy a product that has good winter protection and one that is high in Nitrogen. 

Bob also warns about OVER fertilizing too! He recommends that you buy a fertilizer spreader and set it to half of what the product recommends. He advises this because he wants you to go over the lawn in two different directions to get the most complete distribution and benefit.
