Motivational Monday Motivation

Life happens each day... We wake up, we follow the routine that we have set for ourselves to get to where we need to be each day. Some days this process is easy, some days this same exact process is a little harder! Why? It's the same process... it's the same steps we take each day... So why are we easily on time today and late tomorrow??? Our attitude is the one thing that can influence how our morning goes! What do you do to keep your attitude in check? What do you do to keep yourself motivated?

Life is 10% what happens to you and 90 % how you react to it. Charles R. Swindoll

Do you find yourself focusing on what went wrong? Do you find yourself focusing the results you wanted vs. the results that you received? Well stop it! :) Start believing in yourself. Know that failure is bringing you one step closer to where you want to be. Failure is something to be proud of as it means you had the courage to try. Analyze what happened, make adjustments and then try again.... and again... and again!!!

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.

Thomas A. Edison

When you find yourself getting frustrated, focus on the end result you want. Focus on the reasons you set the goals in the first place? What is your why? What is the reason you want to do what you are doing? If you are a visual person, get a picture of what it is that you want and place it in a place that you will see it often. (Bathroom mirror, by your computer, etc..) Remind yourself often of your dream, your goal, your wanted end result. This will make those failures seem a little less painful.

Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but your unfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what is still possible for you to do.

Pope John XXIII

Annnnd yes, I've been asked... "you're a Realtor, why are you writing a blog titled 'Motivational Monday'?" To answer the question... Over the years, I've run into many different people, all with very different personalities. I've found that people that have an optimistic and positive outlook on life are happier people. I want to do my part to empower others to be positive. I  want to do my part to empower others to believe in the power of affirmations. I want to do my part to help people believe in themselves again. I want to do my part to make the world a happier place... even if it's just for one person, I will have made a difference.

Have a Blessed Week!
