I-94 is CLOSING this weekend!!!
Headed up north fishing??? Headed to the Albertville Outlet Mall for some shopping because the temps are sooo nice??? For anyone traveling on I-94 this weekend, plan your route wisely to avoid the congestion due to the closure... Avoid the frustration that a DETOUR sign can cause :) and get to your destination when you want!
I-94 will be closed in BOTH directions between I-494 and the new interchange of Highway 610 and I-94!!!
Why close an interstate??? They are remove the 101st Avenue N. bridge crossing I-94 in Maple Grove.
The suggested detours are below, but signs will be posted as well:
- Westbound I-94: Drive north on Highway 169 and then west on the new Highway 610 to reach westbound I-94.
- Eastbound I-94: Drive east on the new Highway 610 and then south on Highway 169 to reach eastbound I-94.
For people out and about in Maple Grove this weekend, you will still be able to use Hemlock Lane, Weaver Lake Road and Maple Grove Parkway as they will all still be open.
